Los Angeles Times and Sporting News on AOL join ePlayer Platform on One-Year Anniversary

New York, February 1, 2012 - International digital sports media business PERFORM has today announced the addition of a number of premium publisher syndication partners to its embeddable sports video platform ePlayer, which brings PERFORM's professional and collegiate sports video highlights and original programming to a growing network of online publisher websites both across the U.S. and more globally.

Sports fans will now be able to access PERFORM's premium sports video content at the online destinations of the Los Angeles Times, Sporting News on AOL, New York Newsday, Detroit News, Miami Herald, Chicago Sun Times and Oklahoma News.

The announcement coincides with the one-year anniversary of PERFORM's fast-growing ePlayer which launched in the U.S in February 2011. According to comScore's December 2011 U.S Sports Video Metrix report, ePlayer now ranks 3rd in online video viewers and reaches more fans than industry veterans Yahoo! Sports and CBS Sports.

ePlayer is PERFORM's embeddable sports VOD broadcast platform which is embedded on over 1,000 publishers' websites in 20 territories around the world, reaching an average global audience of over 86 million users every month. In the U.S, ePlayer reaches over 30 million unique sports viewers every month across more than 300 national, regional and local online media and sports sites.

ePlayer provides sports fans with contextually relevant and geo-targeted sports video content through leading content publisher websites. It provides publishers with free access to some of the best sports content available online, helping to engage audiences and drive traffic. For brands, ePlayer provides in-stream video advertising and sponsorship opportunities that allow marketers to extend national campaigns to relevant consumers in local markets at scale and to associate with premium sports content.

In the US, ePlayer delivers the best in pro and college sports, including official highlights from MLB, NBA, NHL, NASCAR, WTA, ATP, UFC, International Soccer and Golf at the pro level; and college football and men's basketball from the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC Conferences and for the 2011-12 season for the Pac-12 Conference on collegiate side. MLB content is only available within the ePlayer on locally targeted sites such as the Los Angeles Times and will not be available on SportingNews.com.

"We are committed to investing in the technology and content in our ePlayer platform and to continue to help publishers thrive in the digital ecosystem," said Juan Delgado, Managing Director of PERFORM Americas. "ePlayer is a turnkey solution for digital publishers, at a local and national level, to deliver the premium sports video experiences that online consumers expect."

"Both PERFORM and Sportingnews.com are committed to delivering immersive sports programming and connecting fans to their favorite sporting events, teams and players," said Jeff Price, President and Publisher of Sporting News. "This initiative will give our readers even greater choice and access to a breadth of video content, including game highlights and interviews, so we're excited to partner with PERFORM and join their ePlayer platform."
